Logical Machine States

The logical machine states that migrate with the logical machine consist of a few collections of data. The components are summarized in table 1 on page gif.

The DLMS386 does not support dynamic memory allocation. It instead assigns blocks of one megabyte to every process. The authors claim dynamic memory allocation could easily be implemented in the same way as it was in their LM286 system.
